ABOUT THE FIT3D PROSCANNER V5

What's involved?

The Fit3D ProScanner V5 takes over 1200 photos of you, using 3 infrared cameras and over 400 measurement are generated providing the most compelling view into your wellness within minutes. The cameras take the photos while you stand on the scanner platform, the whole process takes a quick 40 seconds in which the scanner completes a full 3D, 360° body scan.

Once you are in front of the scanner, you will log in with your Fit3D login (if you have not registered, you can do this at your scan), where the screen on the scanner will prompt you through a step-by-step process. When prompted, you will raise the handles, then press the buttons whilst the scan is in progress. There will be a beep once the scan is complete.

Next, one of our certified Fit3D coaches will go over your results with you and answer any questions you may have. You will now have instant access to your personalized private reports via a secure online portal, or by using the My Fit3D App.

What are the benefits?

The scanner is the BEST measure of how your body is performing! You can see ALL your measurements and body statistics in such little time and effort required. No more measuring tape.

The scanner is the only system available to measure posture with front, side and back views, which analyse your shift and/or tilt along with balance report (weight distributed by your feet). The scanner is straightforward in technology, both simple and innovative in its design; It works by using "non-invasive, near-infrared cameras" with a standard image sensor. The results are great for athletes, physical therapy and club training athletes for injury prevention. 

Fit3D produces a patented 3D Body Scanner that uses DEXA technology and algorithms, and is the ONLY official partnership with DEXA to provide the most accurate body fat algorithms.

How does it work for coaches, trainers and gym owners?

If you are a personal trainer, fitness club, sports club, gym owner etc. we can set you up with your own coach portal, so you can monitor your client's data via our web portal in real time.

We also offer Mobile Body Scanning - we come to you! We add value to your facility or workplace, and get your clients motivated and on track for success! What do I need to know before I get my scan?

• It is important to FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS

• The 3D images can be confronting to look at, be prepared to see yourself in 3D. Take a look at our sample images below so you know what to expect

• Please allow at least 15 minutes for your appointment (especially if it is your first scan) to ensure you get the best out of your results

• To save time at your appointment it is recommended to create an account/register beforehand

• If you have long hair, it is recommended to have it tied up above your neck line

• You need to have the correct garments e.g. tight fitted gym gear/active wear

• We recommend not to wear jewellery, for example watches and necklaces as the scanner takes measurements from wrist to neckline for example

• Your results are delivered to your inbox within minutes, followed by your posture report

• Your certified Fit3D coach will go over your results with you.
